Just wanted to send an email to thank you once again for all your help and support in the running of the successful Pharmig meetings last week.
Please can you kindly pass my thanks to the following (and all the rest of the Portmarnock team who I am unable to personally name).
Paul, Leo and Conor were brilliant in the smooth set up and running of the meeting and exhibition areas. Nothing was too much trouble and their forward thinking and actions meant that both days just flowed – making it very easy for me!
Thanks too to Zoltan who looked after me and my speakers at dinner across both days, ensuring that the table was set up where requested and personally looking after us – efficiently, timely and with a smile on his face. The Jameson Bar was busy so it was much appreciated that he and the rest of the bar team were quick in ‘dealing’ with us without compromising the rest of the customers.
A thank you to Sasha too who ran the Sibin on Wednesday evening with great calmness considering she was dealing with a crowd of thirsty guests!
Many of my guests commented on the quality of the lunch food and canapés – the finger buffet on the first day was talked about – a lot! Thanks to chef and the team..
And thank you to Angelika for sorting out the bedrooms – so very much appreciated by me as I know how stressful that can get when a hotel is full....And, for the lovely ladies at reception - Aoife et al – who looked after my guests with care and humour..
It was good to see familiar faces at breakfast (including the lovely Isabella) and they too recognised some of my guests from last year (which my guys were chuffed about).
Moira - it was lovely to meet you too (and once I did - to keep seeing you throughout the days with a smile on your face).
The days went so quickly and before I knew it, it was (sadly) time to go home.
I so hope we can get to work together again next year – Portmarnock is definitely one of mine and my guests favourite hotels
I just wanted to thank you and your team for hosting our conference. You were all very helpful in supporting the event and without exception
your staff were very courteous.Food and drink were great too, and the rooms looked wonderful.
