On behalf of Audrey & myself we would like to say a big thank you to the hotel & there staff. We had the most wonderful day everything was perfect. The wedding planner Amanda from the hotel arranged every detail & took all the stress & worry from us.
Our room Ireland Eye was fabulous and gave us some space to entertain before the main event.
We had drinks in the secret garden and then into our main room where on arriving I was blown away with how fabulous the room looked. It made our day special.
The food tasted delicious arrived hot and was presented perfect.
We danced into the night & also got a great DJ recommended from the hotel he played the best music. I would highly recommend the Links Hotel Portmarnock for any event.

“Best wedding venue in Dublin

We got married at portmarnock hotel and it was perfect. We had our ceremony out on the lawn looking on to the beach, our reception in a beautiful walled garden, and dinner inside in the Moyne (which was outstanding).
We organised a barbecue for the second day which again blew us away. The food and set up was amazing. The barbecue was arranged in the walled garden. We had a dj playing and we danced the afternoon away.
So many people said to us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, the dinner was the best wedding dinner they’ve ever had and the hotel was so beautiful.
Thank you portmarnock hotel. A special thanks to Amanda, the event’s organiser who was a dream to work with. She made planning a wedding so easy, was so catering to our requests and thought of everything which made the day so special”

I can honestly say it was the very best day of our lives.
On the day we were lucky enough to be able to wed in their secret outdoor garden as the weather was good.
However there was an indoor venue on standby just in case.
The garden was perfect like a set from a romantic movie with white adorned seating and red carpet.
When the bride arrived she was treated like royalty and escorted to the secret garden
There was a sound system so we could play the bride’s favourite track as she advanced up the aisle.
The whole setting was perfection personified.
The food was as excellent as the original tasting and the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Food and drinks were served quickly and efficiently and nobody was left waiting.
Everyone enjoyed themselves.
I can honestly say we would marry each other again just to relive the experience.

Our wedding at the Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links was nothing short of perfect. The whole team there were so attentive, there was nothing that was too much for them, we felt like rock stars! The setting was beautiful, we had our ceremony on the front lawn looking out onto the Velvet strand and the Irish Sea. The drinks reception was in the secret garden and the reception was in the Moyne Suite and the team set up each area perfectly. The staff gave our guests t service and we are still getting compliments on the food WHICH WAS AMAZING! On behalf of Audrey & myself we would like to say a big thank you to the hotel & there staff. Well what can I say! Yesterday we had our wedding in the hotel, from the time of booking with David who was so accommodating, up to the minute we left we were treated like royalty from Mel and all her team. The head bar man Bryn was so attentive to all the guests, he was such a great guy! At the breakfast sitting Baby the waitress so extremely friendly and helpful. Words cannot explain how at ease and comfortable we all were made feel. Thank you to Mel who was a gem to us and the reason why our day went so smoothly and all the staff who participated. We would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at this amazing hotel.

The wedding of Lisa & Aaron

Following our engagement, my husband and I started the wedding venue search. Nothing was standing out for us and we were about to move our search outside of Dublin when my husband asked to view the Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links. From the moment we arrived to the hotel we both knew that our wedding reception would be held there. The new meets old interior is done so well. The views are indescribable, the attention to detail is second to none and staff are so welcoming. We booked our wedding pretty quickly and from the start Karen was outstanding. No question went unanswered, she understood exactly what we wanted and went out of her way to make our day so special. Planning our wedding was very easy with Karen and we were never stressed. On our wedding day my husband had stayed in the hotel the night before. He states that the hotel went out of their way that morning to make sure he was ok and prepared for the day. We had brought personal things to the wedding venue eg: sweets, favours etc and they had set everything up as we had asked. Paul (the manager for the day) was exceptional. He went out of his way to make sure that not only we were ok and looked after but that all our guests were looked after too. We had our pictures taken around the hotel and it’s grounds. You would be mad to go elsewhere. From the food, drink and service everything was perfect. All our guests raved about the hotel, their rooms, the staff, the food and the wedding itself. People were genuinely impressed with everything on the day. If I was to live our wedding day over again I would pick the Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links again as I truly believe there is no better venue out there.

We had our wedding here and where to start, it was the best day and everyone at Portmarnock could not have done enough for us! The staff were incredible (special thanks to Karen and Paul), nothing was too much hassle, we knew we were in great hands! From start to finish, the attention to detail was amazing and everyone made the same comments about how helpful everyone was! We got married at the Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links on the 7th July, 2018. From the moment we booked the venue back in July 2016 I knew we made the right choice. Karen and her team were there with us every step of the way, calming nerves, giving guidance and celebrating with us. Karen made the entire experience so easy. Every request we had was taken care of and carried out with such precision. The Moyne Suite took our breath away when we arrived on the day and our guests are still talking about the Secret Garden drinks reception. Everything aligned perfectly for us on the day, gorgeous weather, amazing scenery, unbelievable food and warm and friendly staff. I throughly recommend Portmarnock Hotel to all couples looking to get married.  Thanks again Karen and team for making our day so special.

The Wedding of Joanne & Derek

We got married in Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links on 24 June 2017. We had the most amazing day and we can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. The setting is absolutely breath taking and the hotel has been refurbished to an extremely high standard. It is pristine. Our guests were very impressed with the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the day and their stay. We had a beautiful sunny day and were lucky enough to be able to have our drinks reception outside in the secret garden which was such a treat and our guests absolutely loved it! The day ran so smoothly, the food was fabulous and the staff were amazingly helpful and so pleasant. Marcella was our wedding co ordinator and was just brilliant, she was so lovely and her enthusiasm at every stage of the planning and on the day made it feel like we had a close friend helping us with the organising. Her attention to detail was impeccable. Her colleague Jonathan was equally helpful and attentive throughout the evening and at our BBQ the next day, nothing was too much trouble. We were highly impressed by all the staff in the hotel and at the Jameson bar, they were so helpful and pleasant and worked so hard to ensure our day ran like clockwork. We had a fantastic day, it was just perfect. We are already looking forward to returning for our first wedding anniversary next June. A huge thank you to all the team at the hotel.

The Wedding of Helen & Andrew

Hi Marcella! Just want to send a HUGE thank you to all the staff in Portmarnock for going the extra mile for our wedding on July 8th. We are just homr from honeymoon and have to say we are both still taking about just how well everything went on the day – which is down to all the hard work and dedcication in Portmarnock! The day went smoothly from start to finish. The secret garden was a major hit with all the guests. Many said they have never been at a wedding like it, and it had the feel of being in an exclusive sunny holiday setting. The choice of beers, prosecco and the lemonades went down well, and we have received many compliments that it really made the reception!

The setting and food have also received the highest compliments. Many guests have said the dinner was of such a high standard that They had never had such a high quality a meal out in a restaurant, let alone at a wedding catering for 120 guests! We both agreed our meal was of an exceptional standard and enjoyed in throughly! I cannot commend the staff highly enough for their dedication, professionalism and warmness on the day. Everything happened quietly in the background, but staff were there if guests needed.

We also stated 2 nights in the hotel which was a huge treat. The room, breakfast and food in the Jameson bar could not be faulted!again the staff couldn’t have made more of an effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Marcella, I must thank you for all your help and time in planning the big day – I know I had a million questions so thank you for your time and patience! We must also give a huge thank you to Jonathon for going out of his way to ensure we had the day of our dreams. He couldn’t have done anymore for us. Thank you Jonathon for all that you did. You have an excellent manner and put us both at ease through out the day. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. Lorraine also deserves a big thank you. From holding my bag to making sure I got a drink after the photos, Lorraine was always there somewhere in the background, stepping in when needed without even having to ask! Her warm friendly manner really helped us to relax and enjoy the day.

I have to say, our weddding day completely exceeded our expectations – and that is down to the staff of your hotel. We really had our dream day and couldn’t have asked for more. We cannot thank you enough! We plan to make many visits back for an evening meal, family occasions and maybe a drink or two! We know many friends and family also plan a return visit!
